Dr Eugene Koh is a licensed psychiatrist and medical lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia. He has been actively practicing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy since 2019. He has experience in using ACT for brief intervention, performance enhancement, anxiety & depression, resilience building, stress management and mental health wellbeing. He applies ACT in his clinical practice, sports and also corporate work. He also regularly provides training to others in introductory courses for ACT. He actively provides mental health education and support to the public, often with ACT perspective interwoven into the activities. He founded the Malaysia Chapter of ACBS with his team with the intention of disseminating contextual behaviour science across Malaysia. Currently, he is the co-chair of the Psychiatry, Medicine and Primary Care section of the World Association of Psychiatry. He also work closely with the DNC of ACBS.
