Izzat Zaid is an associate clinical psychologist currently working in the private and corporate sector. She began exploring Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in 2023 and has been integrating it into her practice since 2024. As a neurodivergent individual herself, ACT has profoundly shaped her journey, helping her cultivate a richer and more meaningful life.

Her clinical work focuses on supporting clients with various mental health challenges, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and growth. She actively enhances her ACT practice by attending formal trainings and seeking consultation from experienced ACT practitioners, ensuring she provides the best possible support to her clients.

Izzat works more extensively with neurodivergent adults in both clinical and organizational settings and is passionate about adapting ACT to better serve neurodiverse populations. She hopes to contribute to the growing understanding and application of ACT within these communities, making psychological flexibility and well-being more accessible to all.
